Seeking the expertise of a part-time Payroll Officer for an immediate start within this NFP that provides essential services for elderly people in the community. If you have a solid background in payroll and enjoy assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, this is a great opportunity to join an impressive organisation. Starting out as a three-month contract role, there is a view to permanency for the right candidate.       
 
Working closely with the CFO your duties will include: 

  • Payroll calculations and reconciliations 
  • Processing payroll entitlements including penalties and overtime
  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions using keyPay and Xero
  • Assisting the CFO with adhoc duties 

This is a hands-on role that is pivotal to the accounts team, and you will be welcomed into an organisation that has a positive company culture, exceptional leadership, and an opportunity to add value.  

To be successful in this role you must have excellent attention to detail and take pride in the work you produce. This is a fast-paced environment and your strong communication skills, and Excel abilities are essential. Previous experience with payroll of between 50 – 100 staff would be highly regarded.
