Seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join a leading manufacturer supplying cabinetry to the building industry in and around Brisbane for over 20 years. You will be joining them during a period of immense growth as they continue to deliver on their promise of providing a great product range using reputable suppliers and over delivering on their service and quality craftsmanship.

The successful applicant will have a passion for the building industry and will understand the requirements associated with a busy, fast paced industry and is not afraid of taking ownership. You will be responsible for managing a small team and ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the smooth operation of their workshop based out of Richlands, 25 minutes out of the Brisbane CBD.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Running all the machines and staff operations
  • Supervision of cabinetry builds
  • Quality control
  • Managing orders, customer relation and builders
  • Job scheduling and coordination
  • Managing any repairs, maintenance of machines
  • Managing installers and allocating jobs 
  • Keeping track of KPI’S and updating them via internal computer systems (Microsoft Office)
  • Updating drawings via Cabmaster CAD software
  • Organising and overseeing deliveries
  • Despatch and forklift operations as required

 
Key Requirements:
 

  • Previous experience working/managing a small team in a cabinetry environment
  • Trade Qualified Cabinetmaker or relevant industry experience
  • Experience operating machinery (Anderson CNC and Edgebanders)
  • Excellent Project Management experience and ability to work on multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good leaderships skills and ability to lead and guide small teams
  • A commitment to safety and safe work practices
  • Ability to lead by example and adapt quickly
  • Team player
  • Any High-Risk tickets including Forklift will be highly regarded
