We are currently seeking 2 x Project Engineers to commence immediately to support our valued client during another period of immense growth. Working for a world leader in the design and supply of earth retaining and buried arch tunnel solutions for the civil, military, mining and energy sectors. With a large team across Australia and New Zealand we are currently expanding the Perth team and would consider experienced Project Engineers or even Junior- Project Engineers looking at stepping up and gaining more experience working for a large multi-national brand that shares the values of a family business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other managers to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Key Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a Project Engineer (2 to 5yrs), we will consider recent graduates with a (civil, structural, geotechnical background)
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards  and State Road/Rail Authority specifications
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Solid project management and supervision skills
  • Strong decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Experienced in concrete specifications and precast manufacturing (highly regarded)
  • Good time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
