We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Sales and Customer Service professional for a dynamic company which also provides an enjoyable and progressive work environment. The successful candidate will thrive on building effective relationships and be time efficient whilst utilising their exceptional customer service experience. Ideally you will have knowledge or experience within the building products industry, specifically commercial building or decking products would be advantageous. Having a technical or trade background would also be considered.
 
This position has become available due to the continued growth and expansion within the organisation. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work and have a passion for sales and customer service as well as being a proactive self-motivator. You will be well presented with strong communication skills and the ability to build long term relationships within a unique market.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client sales calls, with warm leads being provided
  • Taking incoming sales inquiries and action in a timely manner
  • Follow up and management of key account clients
  • Product presentations to architects, builders, designers and contractors
  • Assist clients with their queries and provide solutions
  • Take charge of sales transactions
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers and build strong relationships
  • Team meeting attendance
  • Provide take-offs, quotations, estimating, samples and specification information

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous internal sales, customer service & administrative experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Previous quotation experience desired
  • Integrity, honesty & a passion for service
  • Self-motivation and positive disposition
  • Sound written, verbal and numeracy skills
  • Moderate computer skills with previous ERP/CRM experience a benefit
  • Ability to talk to people from the ground floor to senior management
