We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading supplier of commercial and industrial construction projects across WA. This innovative Design and Construct organisation provides a complete in-house turnkey service, including design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and ongoing support. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects from award to completion. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholders while ensuring high-quality outcomes. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, the PM will play a key role in strategic decision-making and project delivery.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee each project within agreed budgets and timeframes to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Visit sites as required to ensure project milestones are met, quality standards are upheld, and any issues are addressed proactively.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of various construction trades and their interdependencies.
  • Coordinate and resolve issues related to job scope, site meetings, measurements, materials, access, equipment, pricing, and variations.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Design Engineers to align project objectives with design intent.
  • Guide the Drafting team in producing detailed production, manufacturing, and architectural shop drawings.
  • Manage subcontractors for on-site installation of products.
  • Oversee material procurement, ensuring accurate quantities are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Lead and manage Contract Administrators, Site Managers, Drafting teams, and trade personnel.
  • Ensure all stakeholders’ expectations are met through clear communication and effective project management.
  • Maintain OS&H standards, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies.
  • Take ownership of project scheduling and coordination, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of issues.

Key Requirements

  • Proven Project Management experience in commercial and/or structural construction.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and structural materials.
  • High-level financial and commercial acumen.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Professional, results-driven approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with MS Office.
