An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth across Victoria. Specialising in capital equipment sales within the heavy vehicle and mining sectors, this industry-leading organisation is expanding rapidly and requires a growth-focused Territory Manager to uncover new opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
 
In this role, you will take ownership of sales in Victoria, travelling 2–4 days per month to meet clients and conduct regular face-to-face machinery demonstrations. With a company vehicle, a generous commission structure, and the opportunity to utilise your frequent flyer points, this is the perfect position for a seasoned sales professional who enjoys building lasting partnerships.  
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Provide technical support and deliver impactful product demonstrations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Victoria, particularly within the automotive, mining, mechanical, transportation, heavy vehicle/haulage, and fleet sectors
  • Strategically plan and manage client meetings within your territories to maximise efficiency and results
  • Offer tailored solutions to clients, leveraging your in-depth product knowledge to enhance their operations
  • Maintain accurate records in the company’s database and CRM system
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and issues

 
Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in business development and sales, ideally within capital equipment or related industries such as automotive, mining, mechanical, or engineering
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with decision-makers at all levels
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
  • A proactive, confident, and results-oriented approach with a passion for customer service
  • High level of written, verbal, and computer literacy
  • Willingness to travel throughout Victoria as required
  • A current driver’s licence is essential
  • Any mechanical or trade qualifications would be highly regarded
