We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of installation and construction projects for commercial and industrial mechanical workshops across Australia.
Joining a leading provider of end-to-end fit-out solutions for the heavy haulage sector, this key role will collaborate with a team of experienced Project Managers to oversee projects from award through to completion. You will work closely with senior management, contractors, and technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects within agreed budgets and timeframes
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and cost tracking
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and internal resources
- Oversee contractor and technician allocation
- Conduct site inspections and ensure project quality and progress
Key Requirements:
- Proven Project Management experience
- Strong mechanical/engineering aptitude (qualification desirable)
- Commercial awareness and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Ability to interpret drawings and manage variations
- Willingness to travel nationally (2-3 days/month)
