We are currently seeking a mechanically minded Field Service Technician to join a well-established national organisation specialising in workshop equipment solutions across the transport, automotive, and mining industries. The company is highly regarded for its technical expertise, quality product range, and strong commitment to ongoing staff development.

You will be joining a national service team supporting customers across Australia, with the role based in South Australia and offering opportunities for interstate travel as required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out servicing, fault finding, diagnostics, installation work and mechanical repairs across workshop equipment such as hoists, lifts and related systems
    • Complete on-site installations in line with company procedures and safety standards
    • Provide end-user instruction and operational training following installation of equipment
    • Undertake mechanical and hydraulic repair work as required in the field
    • Produce clear, accurate and timely service reports and job documentation

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a mechanical, maintenance, or field service role
    • Ability to interpret technical documentation including manuals, drawings, and schematics
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
    • Professional attitude with the ability to work independently in the field
    • Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to perform under pressure
    • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and building strong customer relationships
