Seeking a skilled Management Accountant, this role commences as a contract role with the possibility of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
 
Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties and skills required include:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to team members involved in ERP testing.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team (including AR and AP) to ensure processes align with best practice and assist with queries as required.
  • Work closely with operations and AP teams to ensure all purchasing (including imports, freight, and foreign exchange factors) is accurately calculated and recorded.
  • Ensure AR, AP, and bank reconciliations are completed within required deadlines to support timely management reporting.
  • Assist with financial reporting for both core and non-core group entities, ensuring records are accurate and up to date for internal and external reporting.
  • Partner with operations teams across multiple locations on stock management processes, including manufacturing costings, BOM reviews, work order processing, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Contribute to reporting across multiple branches and departments, with scope to take ownership of management accounting templates, drive continuous improvements, and analyse cost drivers for review by the Finance Manager and CFO.
  • Support the CFO and Finance Manager with periodic and ad hoc financial and operational reporting.
  • Assist with compliance requirements, including payroll tax reconciliations and BAS lodgements.
  • Perform financial analysis, including month-end variance reporting across financial and operational metrics.
