A rare opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a national transport and logistics company based in Fremantle.

Reporting to the Terminal Manager, duties will include:

• Advising and coaching Managers and Supervisors on employee relations, performance management, workers compensation and HR policies
• Employee lifecycle management including staff retention, recruitment, onboarding, professional development and off boarding
• Implementing HR policies and industrial relations plans aligning with the HR strategy and legislation
• Oversee workers compensation claims and incidents providing support and guidance including coordinating suitable return to work plans and coordinating medicals
• Collating data including absenteeism, leave liability, staff turnover and injury management figures
• Driving health and wellbeing initiatives
• Remaining up to date with HR best practices 

To be successful in this role your skills would include:

• Hands on experience ideally within an operational environment
• Experience in providing guidance and support within a predominantly blue-collar environment
• A consultative and approachable demeanour with the ability to problem solve
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
