We are seeking a reliable and well organised Warehouse Officer to join an established business supplying fixings and PPE products to the industrial and mining sectors.
With a strong customer base relying on fast and accurate supply, this role is focused on dispatch, ensuring orders are picked, packed and sent out correctly and on time. You will play a key part in keeping customers on the job and the warehouse running smoothly.
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with an immediate start available for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch customer orders accurately and within required timeframes
- Prepare consignment notes and book freight and couriers
- Check orders for accuracy before they leave the warehouse
- Receive incoming stock and check deliveries against purchase orders
- Work with the Sales and Customer Service teams to keep customers updated on order status
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy warehouse in line with safety procedures
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch or logistics role
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when dispatching
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work to daily dispatch deadlines
- Basic computer skills and confidence using inventory or order management systems
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- A current forklift licence and knowledge of fasteners, fixings or industrial products are advantageous but not essential
