We’re looking for an Administration Assistant to join a friendly, fast-paced, award winning accounting firm.
Working closely with Partners and team members, this is a pivotal role in ensuring the administrative functions are preformed to the highest standard.
No two days will look exactly the same. You’ll be supporting the team across a mixture of admin, client coordination, and day-to-day office tasks.
Duties will include:
- Setting up new clients on the client portal and keeping records accurate and up to date
- Managing client documents and ensuring everything is filed correctly on the client portal
- Managing the Admin inbox and responding to emails and calls, or directing them to the right person
- Following up with clients to gather information ensuring the firm can manage client’s Tax, BAS and ASIC requirements
- Assisting with ASIC updates and general ATO related administration duties
- Generating service agreements for clients and following up on acceptance of engagement
- Assisting with booking meetings, and preparing files for the meetings as requested
This role requires someone who is naturally organised, detail-focused, and enjoys keeping things in order. Your ability to multi task and prioritise duties will ensure your ongoing success along with your ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Skills required:
- 2-5 years’ experience in an administration role i
- Experience in an accounting, legal or professional services firm would be advantages
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical way of working
- Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- A proactive attitude
- Experience with MS Office and accounting software – Xero or MYOB
- A high level of care when handling confidential information
