We are currently seeking a suitably experienced, well presented and self-motivated salesperson who has strengths in relationship building, business development and values strong customer service.

The company has an enviable reputation within the industrial, hardware, mining, construction, safety, trades, food and transport industries as a supplier who exceeds expectations, provide world-class certified safety products and goes that extra mile for their clients.

Due to the ongoing success of the business they are seeking to appoint a Sales/ Business Development Manager who can take ownership of the position and grow their operations throughout WA.

Key requirements will include:

  • Increase WA region market share
  • Onsite visits and sales presentations
  • Promote new products and marketing initiatives to customers 
  • Generating sales leads
  • Invoicing and quoting
  • Customer service and account management
  • Prospecting new clients and market research
  • Attend trade shows and events as the product representative 
  • Regular national sales meetings
  • Maintain and grow company database and input into CRM system
  • Management and sales reporting

Reporting to the Sales Director, who is based in the Victoria, you will be able to work autonomously, whilst receiving strong sales support, marketing, technology and communication as well as being given the opportunity to progress within the company. You will also have the support of an existing Business Development Manager who is based in Perth, to collaborate with.

To be successful in this role you would have a proven track record in sales and strong business acumen. You enjoy taking ownership of your duties, be highly self-motivated and able to identify, analyse and provide solutions to ensure the ongoing success of the business.

Previous exposure and knowledge of safety products and equipment is required.
Experience in dealing with tier 1 & 2 mining, construction, industrial, logistics, FMCG, distributors and/or wholesale organisations will also be highly regarded.

Must have current drivers licence and the ability to travel intrastate as required.
